COVID-19 UPDATE: ALL SITES OPEN

I hope you, your family and loved ones have remained safe and healthy during the past few weeks. I would like to update you regarding the next steps we are taking in order to emerge from the current situation on our journey to resume full business activity.

I am delighted to advise that as of Monday 18^th May, all ten IDS sites will be open for business and providing a full service throughout the UK. This includes our sales offices and showrooms, with orders available for either safe delivery or collection. In short, this will be business as usual.

Health & Safety

We can assure you that the health and safety of our employees and customers is our number one priority and can confirm that we provide a safe working environment on all our sites, being fully compliant with Government, Public Health England and World Health Organisation recommendations regarding hygiene and social distancing. Our new safe ways of working are already in place to ensure that nobody is put at risk and we are all responsibly living with the virus.

Further information about the new processes and procedures will be provided by our colleagues when placing your order for delivery or upon arriving at the premises, they include:

· Limiting the number of people in the trade counter at any one time.

· Requesting that you remain in your vehicle when collecting goods until instructed otherwise.

External Sales Teams

As you would expect, we still have a number of staff furloughed during these challenging times and at present this includes our external sales teams. Please ensure all enquiries are directed to the sales office via the options outlined above to ensure your queries are dealt with promptly.

Accounts Department

Our Credit Control department is available to help you with any requests or transactions during normal business hours.

We understand that this has been a very difficult time for everyone, but by working closely together we will overcome these challenging economic conditions whilst protecting the wellbeing of our colleagues and customers.
