At IDSurfaces, health and safety are paramount.
Every week, our team delivers thousands of large, heavy goods to sites across the country, and we strive for a 'zero accident culture,' where every individual is committed to safety.
We aim to proactively prevent ill health, personal injury, and property damage by maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all relevant health and safety legislation.
We take pride in putting our health and safety policies and commitments into practice, which is why we achieve the best results.
A few examples of this are:
Zero Lost Time Accidents: From February 1st 2023, to February 1st 2024 we achieved a milestone of zero Lost Time Accidents (LTAs) in a 12 month period.
Rosyth Branch: Our Rosyth branch is a shining example of our approach to health and safety and has excelled as a result. Its 45 employees actively identify and report potential hazards, ensuring that they not only carry out the necessary health and safety processes but also take on a positive attitude towards health and safety, by reporting potential hazards before an accident occurs.
At IDSurfaces, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees and stakeholders.
Some key measures we take include:
Regular Assessments: Continuous evaluation of workplace hazards and implementation of preventive measures.
Employee Training: Comprehensive health and safety training for all employees.
Enhanced Safety Features: Installation of six cameras on HGVs (2021 plate and above) and three-metre zonal lights around most forklift trucks.
